Ive pretty much had this since i was in grade seven.
Im sure it's external because i feel lump, roughly the size of a pencil eraser on my anus.
It goes away but skin is usually still there, that skin restrincts space for defacation and it starts trouble all over again.
Is removal of this hemroid/skin painful with big sideeffects?
IF it is removed, how long would i be 'out of commision"
Do skin tags go away themselves eventually? |

Hello Shin - it's quite unusual although not unheard of to have hemorrhoids since that young an age (grade 7!)... It seems like hemorrhoid sufferers get younger and younger, probably because of the lack of fiber in our diet, poor bathroom habit, and lack of exercise, etc.
Both skin tag and external hemorrhoid are excised (removed by cutting) at your doctor's office - there is no need for hospitalization. It's a quick procedure, but there is some pain involved. There should be no "out of commission" time, although some people would take a day or two "time out" to heal.
Left untreated, skin tags generally don't go away by themselves. |

Well it STARTED in grade 7
Can i do contact sports after skin tag surgery?
Am i right to assume that the skin tags restrict bowel movements or is it a blank extimation on my part? |

7th grade is very early to start developing hemorrhoid or skin tag - but it's getting more and more common to see hemorrhoids in young people nowadays.
Skin tags are actually leftovers of hemorrhoids - they are skin protrusion that serve no function.
After they are excised (cut off) by the doctor, there should be no problem with playing contact sports or anything like that. |
